"A Prayer Book for the Armed Services" is a most useful field manual for the counselor, minister, chaplain. The reason for my purchase was its application in crisis management situations - upon which purpose this manual was published.

Decidedly written for the Christian faith, this decades of on-hands experience and compilation will likely make /5(24). This little book was produced inobviously for use by those in the Armed Forces during WW II. It consists of an "Order for Worship" (basically an abbreviated Morning Prayer), the same Communion service as in the then-current BCP, and a selection of Psalms, Bible Readings and Hymns (the hymns with no music).
